Welcome to Maravilla ? one of Galveston?s premier condominium complexes.? Maravilla is located directly on the Gulf behind the Seawall towards the west end of Galveston at 9520 Seawall Boulevard on Galveston Island, Texas.
We are blessed to personally own 7 condos which we use for our Galveston holidays.
The Maravilla is a complex of 164 individually owned condominium units. Maravilla?owners are as diverse in demographics and reasons for ownership as is the d?cor of each unit. Some are permanent residents, some are weekend warriors using their units as a vacation getaway, and others own their units for rental income, renting on their own or through various island rental agencies. The Maravilla is not a condo-hotel and so there is not an ?approved? or ?preferred? rental method or company. Each owner has the freedom to select what is best for them.? Marilyn and Larry self-rent and self manage 4 condos through ?Galveston Tropical Condos, LLC?.? In addition, we have 3 additional condos that are managed by Turnkey Vacation Rentals.? Our goal is to provide a personal touch to each condo.
Maravilla’s?landscaping is lush and tropical, and includes three swimming pools and a secluded hot tub. The largest Resort Pool is one of the largest pools on Galveston Island with a swim up island and cabana. The East Pool has shade in late in the day and is surrounded by a BBQ area and extra lounge chairs and tables. This pool is heated in the cooler months. ?The Wading Pool is only 3 feet deep and perfect for the young ones since the entrance is sloped. ?In addition to the swimming pools and hot tub there is a bubbling waterfall that cascades down to the wading pool.
You will enjoy the Gulf view from the exercise/weight room with floor to ceiling windows where you can watch the gentle waves of the Gulf as you exercise.? Our exercise/weight room includes weight and exercise machines as well as a Ping Pong Table. In case you want to ?work? or ?surf the web? on your vacation, there is a free broadband, high-speed internet connection in the office and exercise/weight room, as well as in all seven of our condos.
There are two coin-operated laundry rooms on each floor of the complex as well as three elevators. Secure ample parking is on the property. You can purchase a parking pass from the front office for $20.? Your parking pass is valid for your entire stay.? When you register your car, you will receive swim bands for entrance to the pools and exercise room.
Your vacation paradise is close enough to downtown so you can experience all that Galveston has to offer ? elegant restaurants, the historic district, shopping and the cruise ship docks, yet far enough away that you are not in ?tourist heaven?. You are within walking distance to the beach, miniature golf, a bungee jump, batting cages, a movie theatre, a go-kart track, the Galveston Fishing Pier, some eateries and some shopping.? The ten mile Seawall is right in front of our condo ? so grab your walking shoes or rent a bike and explore.
Since you are on the near west end of the island, you are also close to Schlitterbahn Water Park, the award-winning Moody Gardens Golf Course, Scholes Airport, the Lone Star Flight museum, Moody Gardens and wonderful places to bird watch.
