Sandcastle Building Lessons – are being offered at Stewart Beach near the Stewart Beach Pavilion. “Sandcastle Days” will take place each Saturday from June 2 thru August 18. An instructor will build a sandcastle from 8-11 am.? Afterwards, FREE Lessons will be given at 11? am, 1 pm, & 3 pm. Limited supplies will be available. All participants are encouraged to bring buckets and shovels. Oh Yeah, don’t forget your hat, sun glasses, sun screen, and water. You will want to stay most of the day for this family fun learning experience. Then go jump in the water a grab a bite to eat. This is one of the best Galveston Summer Events.

Bands on the Sand at Moody Gardens – will be providing your favorite music every Friday and Saturday Evening from June 8-9 thru August 10-11. Local and Regional Bands will entertain you from 6-10 pm each evening at Moody Gardens’ private Palm Beach. Galveston Summer Events like this is why folks love Galveston. Movie Nite on the Strand – continues to be a wildly popular FREE happening. Saengerfest Park hosts at 2300 Strand.?Grab your chairs, blankets and pillows, and head to downtown Galveston for a FREE family-friendly movie under the stars.
