Holiday Magic, Holiday Magic Island Style is here once again! Where in the world did 2015 go? It seems like just a few weeks ago was Valentine?s Day. Now look, it?s almost Thanksgiving. It seems that every year that we live, the years go by faster and faster. Sure wish it was the other way around.

Holiday Magic Island Style includes;

1. ?Festival of Lights? at Moody Gardens. This annual Holiday event gets bigger and bigger each year. There will be over 100 musically themed and animated light displays. There will also be well over 1 million lights displayed in this year?s ?Festival of Lights?. It all begins November 14^thand runs through January 2^nd. 50 glorious days of Holiday Magic, excitement, and celebration. Each evening includes special live entertainment. Every Friday is ?Food Drive Friday?. Bring a non-perishable food item and receive a 2 for 1 entry for that evening. Other things to do include Ice Skating at the areas only outdoor skating rink. Have your picture taken with Santa. Oh go ahead; don?t you remember how much fun it was? There are also Ice Sculptures, Great Buffets, Ice Slide, Train Ride, and Holiday Movies. 2. ?Dickens on the Strand? is a 19^th Century Victorian era experience in downtown Galveston. It is always held the first weekend in December. This year Dickens will captivate everyone Friday, December 4^th through Sunday, December 6^th. Dickens on the Strand is a British Invasion like no other. Events all over town will be available day and night. Bell ringing, roving musicians, parades, carolers, five independent stages of entertainment. This is what Holiday Magic is all about. Food galore, costumes that are unforgettable, and the memories of a lifetime truly capture the essence of Dickens on the Strand. Charles Dickens is the ?namesake? and often some of his offspring attend and host breakfasts and lunches. If you come once you will come again.
